International Immersion Trip to Dubai and Abu Dabhi

Introduction
A group of 10 students from Delhi embarked on a five-day international immersion trip to Dubai and Abu Dabhi from September 24th to September 28th, 2024. The trip aimed to provide students with global exposure through industrial visits, academic workshops, and cultural experiences. Key highlights included visits to Nakheel and Teleios Factory, a workshop at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Dubai, and sightseeing tours in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Day 1: Arrival and City Tour

Date: September 24, 2024
The group departed from Delhi and arrived in Dubai at 8:40 a.m. Upon arrival, students checked in at the Grand Excelsior Hotel. Post-lunch, they explored the city's iconic landmarks during a guided city tour. The students visited the Dubai Mall. The day concluded with a welcome dinner, offering the students a chance to acclimatize and network.

Day 2: Industrial Visit to Nakheel and Workshop at RIT

Date: September 25, 2024
After breakfast, the students visited Nakheel, one of Dubai’s leading real estate developers. The visit provided insights into Nakheel’s innovative projects, including Palm Jumeirah. A detailed session was taken by a senior official.  Post-lunch, the group attended an academic session at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Dubai. The workshop included discussions on advancements in technology and its implications for industries. The day ended with a relaxing dhow cruise, offering students stunning views of Dubai’s skyline while enjoying dinner.

Day 3: Visit to Teleios and Desert Safari

Date: September 26, 2024
The group visited the Teleios Factory, one of the world's largest manufacturers of racing car simulators. This visit allowed students to witness the assembly and production processes, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge manufacturing techniques. It was followed by a visit to the doom for a simulator experience.
In the afternoon, the students participated in a thrilling desert safari, experiencing dune bashing and traditional Bedouin culture. The evening ended with a cultural dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Abu Dhabi City Tour

Date: September 27, 2024
The group traveled to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, for a city tour. Highlights included visits to landmarks such as the Akshardham Temple and Ferrari World. This part of the trip offered a deeper understanding of the UAE’s rich cultural heritage.
The day concluded with a group dinner back in Dubai, fostering camaraderie among the students.

Day 5: Free Time and Departure

Date: September 28, 2024
On the final day, the students had free time to explore Dubai or shop for souvenirs. At 5:15 p.m., the group departed for the airport, marking the end of a memorable trip.
