Dr. Vikas Bhatnagar
Dr. Vikas Bhatnagar, currently working with JBS Noida, has over 6 years of enriching industrial, research and academic experience. He has received his bachelor degree with Honors in Electronics and Communication engineering from State Government Engineering College, Haryana, master degree with Outstanding grade in Business Administration from Central University of Himachal Pradesh and doctorate from National Institute of Technology Warangal where he has developed soft computing models to deal with real time industry problems. He has qualified UGC-NET in Management discipline. Dr. Vikas Bhatnagar has published research articles in various reputed international journals like Springer, Elsevier, Inder-science and international conferences like IEEE and IET. One of his research articles bagged best paper award at national conference sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board, India. He has also worked on a research project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. He co-authored a book entitled “New Age Business Practices: Leveraging Digitization for Marketing Excellence”. He is a reviewer for the International Journal (ESCI, Scopus Indexed) and conferences and acted as a resource person in Capacity Building, Skill Development and Faculty Development Programs.

Dr. Charu Sijoria
Dr. Charu Sijoria has completed her Ph.D. in Marketing from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Her Ph.D. thesis was titled “Antecedents of Positive Electronic Word of Mouth and their Impact on Consumer Based Brand Equity.” She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from IIIT Allahabad. She has done her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UIET, Kanpur University. She is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in Jaypee Business School, JIIT University, Noida.

Dr. Shivangi Saxena
Dr. Shivangi Saxena is having an overall experience of 14 Years in Industry as well as academics. She has worked with reputed Corporates and Institutions across India like KARVY, RELIGARE, INDRA, and JIIT. Dr. Shivangi Saxena has completed her Ph. D. in Entrepreneurship and Finance. She Has done M.B.A in finance and bachelor’s degree in computer science from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. She is NCFM Certified for Cash and Derivatives module. She is Presently working as assistant Professor in Jaypee Business Scholl, JIIT Noida. She has published papers in reputed journals (SCOPUS).

Dr. Shriram Anil Purankar
Dr. Shriram Anil Purankar has completed his Ph.D. in Management from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. His Ph.D. thesis was titled “Empirical Investigation of Commodity Futures, Commodity Indices, Equity Indices and Macroeconomic Indicators: Evidence from India”. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Symbiosis International University. He has done his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana, USA. He comes with 5 years of industry (Financial services & Commodity Trading Execution) and over 5 years of teaching experience. He has worked with companies like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, SBI Life Insurance and was working with Glencore prior to joining Japyee Business School as a faculty.His interests lie in the area of Import-Export Management, Economics, International Business and Strategic Management.

Dr. Shradha Kabra
Dr. Shradha Kabra is presently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in Jaypee Business School, JIIT, Noida. She has dedicated several years to teaching in colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi. She has also served as a faculty in Jamia Millia Islamia, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad, and Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida. Through her diverse teaching engagements across these prestigious institutions, she has gained credible knowledge in business communication and pedagogy, thus, contributing significantly to student development and academic excellence.
Objective/Abstract of the session
Staff Development Program on “Unlocking the power of IT Tools in boosting Productivity.” was done with an objective to introduce participants to a range of essential IT tools and digital platforms that can significantly improve personal and professional productivity. The program aims to help the participants in understanding how to efficiently manage tasks, collaborate effectively, automate routine activities, and organize digital resources. Through focused sessions on Tech Leadership and Mentoring, Effective Data Management and Analysis with Microsoft Excel, Efficient Document Formatting with Microsoft Word, Collaborative Work in Microsoft Office, and Email Ethics, the program seeks to build practical skills that are essential in academic and workplace environments. Participants will develop the ability to manage data intelligently, create professionally formatted documents, collaborate efficiently using digital platforms, and practice proper digital communication. The program also emphasizes the role of technology in leadership and mentoring, preparing students to thrive in tech-driven professional settings.
This session was very informative for the participants with numerous examples from real life situations. Participants thoroughly enjoyed and learnt from the candid and detailed talk.
