- ACTIVITY NAME - MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK

- OBJECTIVE AND GOAL – JBS organised a week-long mental health awareness week from. Different activities were organised during the week ranging from poster making, storytelling to expert talk. All the activities during the week focused on youth mental health. Across the Mental Health Awareness Week, we witnessed the students building meaningful connections during their engagement in the events.

This activity was aimed at toward motivating and developing creative skills in students. Students were required to work in groups to create a poster, by integrating their individual themes into one broader theme and then create a poster on issues related to mental health.

The title of the expert talk was “Thriving Under Pressure Mastering the Art in Stress Management.". We invited Ms Isha Singh, Child Psychologist/ABA Therapist at Autism Centre for Excellence, Gurugram. The talk helped students understand the importance of stress management to deal with both personal and professional life challenges. |

Social Media Campaign: Mental health awareness |

Digital detox Contest

Nowadays, we are all so consumed by digital distractions. Constant social media notifications blow up our phones. Students were supposed to undergo digital detox by taking an hour or two to completely leave their phone and computer. They were asked to submit a written message in a paragraph or two (400-500 words) about what they did during their digital detox. Who did they spent it with, and how did they feel during whatever activity they decided to embark on? Best entry on time was rewarded.
