Day-wise Description of the Event
The workshop commenced with a warm welcome to the resource person and the participants, followed by an introduction to the session’s objectives by the coordinators.
Session by Ms. Shweta Khanna:
Ms. Khanna engaged the students in an interactive workshop on Design Thinking, focusing on how vocabulary, mindset, and structured toolkits can foster innovation and problem-solving abilities. The session highlighted the following:
- Understanding Growth Mindset: Emphasis on shifting perspectives from fixed abilities to continuous learning and adaptability.
- Design Thinking Vocabulary: Students were introduced to essential terms and concepts such as empathy, ideation, prototyping, and iteration, making the abstract process more accessible and actionable.
