Industry oriented workshop titled End to End Advertisement Production From Idea to Final Cut

Jaypee Business School organized an industry-oriented workshop titled “End-to-End Advertisement Production: From Idea to Final Cut” for BBA/MBA students

The workshop was structured as a 3-hour interactive session covering the complete advertisement production cycle—pre-production, production, and post-production. The session aimed to provide practical exposure to professional ad-making processes through visual presentations, demonstrations, and experiential activities.

The first session focused on pre-production, where students learned to interpret brand briefs, define target audiences, develop creative concepts, script content, storyboard ideas, plan budgets, and schedule shoots. This was followed by an interactive activity to reinforce learning.

The second session addressed production techniques, including translating scripts into visuals using camera work, lighting, and art direction. Students participated in practical activities to understand on-ground execution.

The final session covered post-production processes such as editing footage, integrating sound, colour grading, revisions, and final delivery. Fifteen students were to be selected for an office visit to gain behind-the-scenes exposure to the professional production environment.

The workshop successfully bridged academic learning with industry practice while encouraging teamwork, creativity, and real-world thinking.

Objective of the Programme:

To provide practical understanding of the complete advertisement production process.
To bridge the gap between theory and industry practice.
To enhance creative thinking, collaboration, and applied learning skills.
To familiarize students with professional media and marketing workflows.
