Biography

Biography: 

Dr. Neetima Agarwal, currently working with Jaypee Business School (JBS), Noida has over 9 years of industrial and academic experience. She has received her Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. She has received a master's degree in business administration from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University, Noida (JIIT). She was a full-time Ph.D. with a research fellowship of 3 years at JIIT University. During her Ph.D. she has developed models of Training Need Analysis, and Employability Skills Meter to address the talent acquisition and training issues in the corporate. Dr. Neetima has worked as software engineer in IT companies and Associate Training Head in Skill Development Initiative of India. She has worked with various skill development projects of PMKVY, DDU-GKY, MoRD, RSLDC, STAR and was instrumental in launching NCVT Certification for assessment in various projects across different states. Dr. Neetima worked with Amity University, Noida and Symbiosis International University, Pune before joining JBS. She has published research articles in various international journals of high repute like Emerald, Elsevier, Inder-science, IGI-Global, and international conferences like IEEE, ITQM, and ICEB. She has received the best research paper award by international bodies. She has been a Ph.D. supervisor for the last 6 years. One of her scholars has been awarded a Ph.D. degree in 2022 and the other is ongoing. She is a reviewer of many reputed journals like IEEE, Elsevier, Emerald, and Inder-science. She has organized many International Conferences and was instrumental in developing the Entrepreneurship Development Centre & Incubator in various institutes. In her academic tenure she has served as Program In-charge of BBA, Chief Coordinator of Non-Teaching Credit Course (Projects) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels from 2016-22. Organized the Second Edition of the “Leadership Series” series of 680 minutes at Amity University Uttar Pradesh. 30 leaders from various verticals and industries graced the series in 2022.  

 Organized the First Edition of the “Leadership Series” of 520 minutes (about 8 and a half hours) at Amity University Uttar Pradesh. 20 industrial leaders from various verticals graced the series in 2021. 

 Organized an online “Shark Tank” competition at an inter-institutional level for students to pitch their ideas in front of investors, consultants, and entrepreneurs.
