Biography

Dr. Archana Shrivastava is an Associate Professor at Jaypee Business School, JIIT Noida, with over twenty five years of experience spanning academia, industry, research, and technology practice. Her interdisciplinary background in Computer Science, Economics, and Management allows her to integrate technological, managerial, and behavioural perspectives in both teaching and research.

Her work examines how technological change reshapes customer experiences, business models, and organizational practices. Her research interests include artificial intelligence in business, consumer behaviour, digital transformation, blockchain applications, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and emerging platform ecosystems. Her research has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Best Researcher Award (IOAPA 2025), the APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Research Excellence, and the Emerald Highly Commended Paper Award.

Before entering academia, she worked in software and technology leadership roles, leading e-commerce and technology projects for international clients. She also collaborated with Doordarshan and Akashvani Jammu. These professional experiences continue to shape her teaching philosophy and strengthen her emphasis on application driven and industry connected learning.

At JIIT, she teaches Marketing subjects,  Digital Marketing, and Digital Transformation in Business across MBA, BBA, and Online MBA programs. Her teaching approach combines live projects, industry interaction, and hands on digital tools to bridge classroom learning with contemporary business practice.

Dr. Shrivastava actively contributes to doctoral supervision, research mentoring, editorial responsibilities, and academic leadership. She serves as reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals and mentors entrepreneurial initiatives through platforms including the IIT Bombay National Entrepreneurship Challenge and the Wadhwani Global Impact Team.

She has also contributed to institutional initiatives as Program Director, Innovation Ambassador, and member of academic quality and curriculum development activities. Her consultancy projects have included sustainability and development focused collaborations with healthcare, industrial, and public sector organizations.

She believes research should contribute not only to academic knowledge but also to meaningful impact in business and society.
